The Wasdale Show race, part of the British Open Fell Runners Association (BOFRA) calendar, takes place in Wasdale Head, West Cumbria. Known as one of the toughest BOFRA races, it features a challenging course with a steep ascent and descent, climbing to the summit of Kirk Fell. The race covers 2.40 miles (3.80 km) with a significant climb of 2,300 feet (700 meters).
