Ulverston Fell Race

The Ulverston Fell Race, organized by the British Open Fell Runners Association, takes place at Beckside Farm on Old Hall Road, Ulverston. The 2025 event features a new course starting adjacent to the farm, running alongside a beck before climbing to the top of Flan Fell. Younger runners (U14) turn at the summit, while seniors and U17s descend to a field corner before returning over Flan Fell to the finish.

The race covers 1.85 miles (2.8 km) with a climb of 540 feet (160 meters). It includes multiple age categories from under 9 to seniors, offering a challenging yet accessible fell running experience in a scenic rural setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
