Heatwave Half Marathon/5K/10K - Greater Atlanta
The Heatwave event takes place on July 25, 2027, in Greater Atlanta, GA (zipcode 30308; street TBD). Multiple race options are offered on the same day, plus a virtual alternative.

Registered participants in the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal; those three distances use chip-timing with live results and awards. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed and include a bib, youth or standard shirt, and a medal; the Kids Dash allows children to run without receiving event swag for no fee. Youth pricing applies for the 5K and 10K for ages 12 and under at $17.
The Virtual Race registration includes a digital bib, shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; mailed packets ship the Wednesday after the race and participants can upload times and photos starting on the event day. Volunteer Then Run participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup to help and then may run any distance of their choice. A shirt guarantee requires registration by midnight on Thursday, two Thursdays before race day. Free photos and ice cream at the finish are provided.
