About the race
The Golden Harvest event takes place on 19 September 2026 at Marine Creek Lake in Fort Worth, Texas. It offers in-person races, a volunteer option with a run, and a virtual race with mailed packets.
Distances and formats include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash (50 m, ages 10 and under)
- Virtual Run (run any day at chosen location)
- Volunteer then Run (volunteer shift plus choice of distance)
- Running Buddy Half Marathon (requires prior approval)
Most in-person registrations include a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 5K and 10K and half marathon offer chip timing with live results and awards. The half marathon will have pacers. The kid's dash registration includes a mini bib, youth shirt, and a specific kids' medal; children who decline swag may run the kid's dash on race day at no cost.
The virtual entry includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipping; mailed packets are scheduled to ship the Wednesday after the race. Free event photos and finish-line treats are provided. Youth pricing applies for the 5K and 10K (12 and under priced at $17). Registration by midnight two Thursdays before race day guarantees a shirt. The Running Buddy Half Marathon requires prior application and approval.
