Cox Running Club Labor Day Weekend 5K & 10K
The Cox Running Club presents the 14th Annual Labor Day Weekend 5K and 10K on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Woodshed Smokehouse, 3201 Riverfront Dr., Fort Worth, Texas. The event offers two official distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run/Walk
Courses run along the Trinity River and are described as flat; route maps are listed as TBD. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are presented three deep in 5-year age brackets for both men and women, with additional overall and masters overall awards. Age groups cover 12 and under through 80 and over, and include a category for race walkers.
Packet pickup is available race day only at the race site. Online registration closes September 4, 2026; race-day registration is offered at the venue. Registration fees vary by date, with tiered pricing for each distance and higher fees for race-day entries. Early-bird pricing is available through July 7, 2026.
Post-race provisions at Woodshed Smokehouse include breakfast tacos, light snacks, refreshments, soft drinks, music, and a margarita or other adult beverage for participants ages 21 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
