Spooky Sprint - Rochester

Spooky Sprint - Rochester is an annual Halloween-themed race event held at Cascade Lake Park and Zumbro West Park in Rochester, MN on 10/11/2026. The event program includes multiple in-person race distances, a virtual race option, and a volunteer-then-run option.

The event features chip timing with live results and awards for timed distances, free photos, and finish-line treats. Several race entries include event swag such as a designer shirt, custom bib, and a finisher medal. Shirt availability is guaranteed for registrations completed by midnight on the second Thursday before race day.

Registration fees vary by event: Half Marathon $56, 5K and 10K $34, Virtual Race $42, 1 Mile $22, Kids Dash and Volunteer then Run $17. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is $17 for ages 12 and under. The Volunteer then Run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and allows them to run any distance afterward. The virtual option allows participants to complete the distance anywhere while still receiving event swag.
