Event Overview
The Treat Trot - Denver is a multi-distance running event held at Carpenter Park and the Thornton Recreation Center Park in Thornton, Colorado. Participants can choose from several different race lengths held on a single day. The event features both timed and untimed options to accommodate different preferences.
Distance Options
Participants can choose from the following course lengths:
- Kids Dash (untimed, for ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 15K
Race Details
The 5K, 10K, and 15K events are chip-timed, providing runners with live results and eligibility for awards. The Kids Dash and 1 Mile options are untimed. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual race option is available, allowing participants to run at a location of their choice and receive event materials by mail.
Registered participants receive a designer shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a race bib. The event also provides free professional photos and snacks at the finish line area. There is special pricing available for participants aged 12 and under for the 5K and 10K distances.
