Heatwave Half Marathon - Memphis
The event takes place at Shelby Farms - Hyde Lake Pavilion on Great View Dr N in Memphis, TN 38134, US. It comprises a set of in-person races plus a virtual option and a relay format.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash : 50 m for ages 10 and under, untimed.
- 1 Mile : untimed fun mile.
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon : 13.1 Miles.
- Half Marathon Relay : 13.1 Miles per team.
- Volunteer Then Run : volunteer shift then any distance.
- Virtual Race : run anywhere on any day.
Most in-person event registrations include a custom bib, designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash provides a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal; a child may run the Kids Dash without swag for no fee on race day. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is available for ages 12 and under at $17. Chip-timing with live results and awards is provided for timed distances. Free ice cream will be available at the finish. A deadline is stated to register by midnight on Thursday two Thursdays before race day to guarantee a shirt.
Virtual participants receive a digital bib, shirt, medal, and packet shipping. Virtual times can be uploaded starting the day of the event and photos may be submitted to the participant photo album. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
