Golden Harvest Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Kansas City
The Golden Harvest Half Marathon & 5k/10k is a local-themed running event held in Kansas City, Missouri. This event provides a variety of course distances to accommodate different preferences, including timed races and untimed options for younger participants or shorter distances.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10k (6.2 Miles)
- 5k (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile (Untimed)
- Kid's Dash (50m, ages 10 and under, untimed)
The event utilizes chip-timing for the Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k distances, providing live results and awards for participants. Pacers are available specifically for the Half Marathon distance. All registered participants receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. For the Kid's Dash, children have the option to participate for free if they do not require a shirt or medal.
Amenities at the event include free photography and treats at the finish line. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual race option is available, allowing participants to run at a location of their choice and receive their materials via mail after the event date.
