Event Overview

The Kansas City Comets 5K is a running event benefiting the LOVE FUND for Children and presented by Success on the Spectrum. It takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Course Details

The event features a 5K run. The race takes place at Cable Dahmer Arena, and the finish line is on the Kansas City Comets playing field.

Event Features

Each race package includes two tickets to the Kansas City Comets home game against Baltimore that evening. All age bracket winners will be recognized at halftime. Winners of each age bracket also receive a voucher for two free tickets to a home game on March 27. Race participants have the opportunity to run alongside KC Comets players and members of the Comets Girls Dance Team during the 5K.

Participant Perks

All registered racers receive a commemorative race t-shirt, a medal, and the two tickets to the exhibition game. All race participants are entitled to a free Chris Cakes breakfast. Race spectators can purchase a Chris Cakes breakfast.

Logistics

Packet pickup is available on Friday from noon to 4:00 PM at Cable Dahmer Arena in the will-call office and check-in table area. Packet pickup is also available on the morning of the race. Pets are not permitted at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
