Heatwave Half Marathon, 10K, 5K : Caledonia, Michigan
The Heatwave event takes place in Caledonia, Michigan on July 31, 2027. It offers multiple in-person race options plus a virtual option and a volunteer-plus-run entry.
Race distances and formats include:
- Kids Dash : 50 m for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile untimed event
- 5K with chip timing and awards
- 10K with chip timing and awards
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) with chip timing
- Virtual Race option with mailed packet
- Volunteer Then Run entry; volunteers arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup
- Running Buddy Half Marathon subject to prior approval
Standard registrations for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The 5K and 10K offer youth pricing for ages 12 and under at $17. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed and include a bib, shirt sized for youth or adult as listed, and a special medal for kids.
The Virtual Race registration includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, packet shipping, and the ability to upload times and photos beginning on race day. Packets for virtual entrants are mailed and are scheduled to ship the Wednesday after the event.
