Summer Sizzler - Greater Atlanta
The Summer Sizzler is an annual running event held at Little Mulberry Park in Auburn, Georgia. This summer race offers a variety of distances to accommodate different participants, with all courses designed to minimize impact on the local community by utilizing the park's paths.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 15K (3 loops of the course)
- 10K (2 loops of the course)
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Kids Dash (for ages 10 and under)
- Virtual Race
The 5K, 10K, and 15K events are chip-timed and qualify for age group awards across various categories, including overall male and female and masters (40+). The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed events. All registered participants receive a designer shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a custom bib. The youth-sized registration for the Kids Dash includes a specially crafted medal and a mini bib.
Finisher amenities include live results, free photos, and refreshments such as Kona Ice at the finish line. For those unable to attend the physical event, a virtual option is available where participants can run at a location of their choice and have their swag mailed to them.
