The Dempsey Dash is scheduled for March 14, 2026 at the Brenau University Amphitheater in Gainesville, GA. The event includes a 5K and a 1K Fun Run with multiple entry categories for community members, Brenau students, Brenau employees, a phantom runner/donation option, and a children under 10 category. Official event T-shirts are provided to all pre-registered participants by February 20; other registered participants through race day will receive shirts while supplies last. Participant bags or shirts are available Saturday at registration/check-in. The 5K awards include overall male and female winners and top male and female in each age group: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
