Bobcat - November 7, 2026
Bobcat is a trail running event held at Burr Oak Lodge in Glouster, Ohio, within Burr Oak State Park. The event includes a Marathon and a Half Marathon. Registration prices listed are $85 for the marathon and $70 for the half marathon. Hikers are welcome. The race is part of the Ohio Endurance Series. Donations from the event support Burr Oak Alive.
Course
The marathon is a single-loop course that is 90% trail and 10% asphalt. The half marathon is a point-to-point on the same trails. The course includes rolling hills, several creek crossings, and portions of the Buckeye Trail. The route will be well marked.

Awards, swag and logistics
Swag includes a triblend tee and a finisher medal. Awards are given to the Top 3 overall male and female finishers and Top 3 male and female in listed 5-year age groups from 24 & Under through 70 & Over. The marathon has an 8-hour cutoff; the half marathon has a 7-hour cutoff. Participant guides are available for both the marathon and half marathon. Burr Oak Lodge offers rooms, a restaurant, an indoor pool, and outdoor activities; the lodge often requires a two-night stay on race weekend and has a special race room block.
