Bob Beckert Memorial 5K Run/Walk 2027
The Bob Beckert Memorial 5K Run/Walk is an annual community running event held in Warren, New Jersey at Watchung Hills Regional High School. The event features a main 5K run/walk and a separate kids dash of 300 m.
Registration is not yet open and will open prior to the event. Race shirts are guaranteed for those who pre-register for the 5K. Personalized bibs are available for participants who register at least three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is handled on race morning and begins one hour before the event start.
Event amenities include raffle prizes, race day refreshments, live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and same-day finish line video. Results and additional photos from prior events are available online.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to top male and female finishers in age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
The race benefits the Bob Beckert Memorial Fund, which awards college scholarships to Watchung Hills students. Since the fund began, over $117,000 has been awarded to 105 students. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
