Blueberry Fun Run in Ketchikan
The Blueberry Fun Run takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Ketchikan, AK. The event is hosted by the Ketchikan Running Club and uses the intersection of Main Street and Grant Street as the start and finish area. The race program includes the following distances:
- 1 mile
- 5K
- 10K
All races begin and end at the intersection of Grant Street and Main Street by the Ketchikan Police Department. The 1 mile course follows Grant Street toward the Schoenbar Trail, returns on Schoenbar Trail to the "Y", continues on Harris Street to Park Avenue, crosses Park Avenue with a volunteer, proceeds down Park Avenue, turns right on Dock Street, then right on Main Street to the finish at Grant and Main.
The 5K and 10K routes will be announced later; their start and finish remain at Grant and Main.
Registration and logistics
Registration deadlines differ by event: the 5K and 10K registrations must be completed by July 11, 2026, while the 1 mile registration closes July 30, 2026. Ketchikan Running Club members in 2026 receive a $5 registration discount. Giveaway sizes and quantities are only guaranteed for participants who register by July 11. Bib and shirt pick up and in-person registration are scheduled for Friday, July 31 at the Rec Center. Last-minute bib pick up is available race morning; there will be no day-of registration.
