Blueberry Fun Run : Ketchikan Alaska
The Blueberry Fun Run is organized by the Ketchikan Running Club and includes three race distances held in Ketchikan, Alaska. The event uses an authentic start line on Grant Street, by the Ketchikan Police Department, and the venue address is the intersection of Main Street and Grant Street.
Distances offered:
- 1 mile course beginning on Grant Street and returning to Main Street.
- 5K course beginning on Grant Street and following Schoenbar Trail.
- 10K course beginning on Grant Street and following Schoenbar Trail.
Route notes describe the 1 mile as continuing through Schoenbar Trail, returning to Harris Street, then Park Avenue and Dock Street before finishing on Main Street. The 5K and 10K begin the same way and the remainder of those routes will be announced later; the start and finish line will remain the same.
Registration opened December 22, 2025. Registration deadlines differ by distance, with the 1 mile closing July 31, 2026 and the 5K and 10K closing July 12, 2026. Entry fees listed are fifteen dollars for the 1 mile and twenty five dollars for the 5K and 10K. All 2026 Ketchikan Running Club members receive a five dollar registration discount. Giveaway sizes and quantities are only guaranteed for participants registered before July 11. Bib and shirt pick up and in-person registration are scheduled for the day before the race at the Rec Center, and last minute bib pick up will be available on race morning at the starting line.
