Bluebelly Dash 5K
The Bluebelly Dash 5K is Beasley Elementary's first community 5K, held on 09/13/2026 at 1350 Baring Blvd, Sparks, NV 89436. The event is open to school-aged students and adults and uses a single measured distance of 3.1 Miles.
Proceeds from the event are allocated to refurbishing Bud Beasley Elementary's playground with ADA compliant play equipment and sensory areas. Registration opens on May 15, 2026 and closes on September 7, 2026. Registration fees are listed as Adults $35 and Youth ages 5 to 17 $25, with the youth discount applied at checkout.
Every registered participant receives a custom 3D printed medal. The first 125 registrants receive a race shirt. Organizers note that portions of the course include uneven terrain and dirt paths and advise appropriate footwear. For the safety of all participants, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course.
