Blue Stone 5K-9
The Blue Stone 5K-9 is a 3.1 mile road event held on September 26, 2026 in Sandy Springs, Georgia at Century East Parking Lot, 6100 Lake Forest Drive. It is presented alongside the Blue Stone Art and Music Festival and is an Official Peachtree Qualifier.
Events include a running 5K and multiple wheelchair categories, all over the same 3.1 mile distance. The registration fee is $35. Registration opens June 16, 2026 and closes September 24, 2026. Race t-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by August 28, 2026; afterwards shirts are available while supplies last. Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the race at Century East Parking Lot; bibs not picked up in advance may be collected at the Start/Finish area on race day before the race begins.
Registration includes a race t-shirt, finisher medal, goodie bag, water and snacks, with some items while supplies last. In partnership with Catalyst Sports, a limited number of adaptive hand cycles will be available to borrow for participants with disabilities.
The course is described as primarily flat and out-and-back. The event uses a staggered start and provides guidance on canine etiquette and race conduct: dogs must remain on a non-retractable leash no longer than 6 ft, harnesses are recommended, runners should pass on the left and stay to the right, and participants must pick up any dog droppings. Awards are given for overall and category winners and will not be mailed. Dogs are welcome at the 5K but are not permitted inside the festival; service dogs are allowed.
