Blue Ridge Ultra
The Blue Ridge Ultra is a set of trail races held in the Chattahoochee National Forest near Blue Ridge, Georgia. Races start and finish at the historic Shallowford iron bridge over the Toccoa River and use long sections of the Benton MacKaye Trail together with hidden paths and forest service roads.

The course is fully marked with signs and flagging. Terrain includes singletrack, small creek crossings, technical sections, steep climbs, and fast descents. The route crosses Highway 60 in places; runners should be prepared for road crossings. The 50K route includes extended rolling forest service road sections as part of the loop.
Race services include six fully stocked aid stations, live race results, a race shirt, finisher medal, custom awards, cooked-to-order post-race meals provided by the Ironbridge Cafe, free race photos, free parking, and a free shuttle from parking areas. Fifty-kilometer runners receive one one-gallon drop bag at check-in for placement at Aid Station #2 and Aid Station #5. There is a canine class within the 15K distance with awards for top canine finishers.
Registration opens November 25, 2025 and closes October 9, 2026. Entry fees listed on the event page are: 50K $160, 30K $140, 15K $125. Awards are offered across age and gender categories; breaking the men's or women's 50K course record carries a $250 bonus.
