Blue Lobster 4-Miler
The Blue Lobster 4-Miler is a four mile out and back race held on the Eastern Trail in Kennebunk, Maine. The event takes place on Sunday August 2, 2026, with the venue listed as Kennebunk Elementary School at 177 Alewive Road, Kennebunk, ME 04043.
Walkers are welcome. The race makes donations to the Kennebunk High School cross country and track boosters. Post race food is provided by Duffy's Tavern, Kennebunk. A shirt order deadline is listed as July 15; shirts may be available after that date as inventory allows.
Entry fees are tiered by date: $26 Wicked Early Bird registration by April 21, $29 Early Bird registration April 22 to June 15, $34 thereafter, and $39 on race day. The event offers cash prizes for overall winners and awards in age group and team categories. Course records are noted as male 20:56 (2023) and female 24:54 (2021).
The event policy states no refunds. In the case of catastrophic weather, a public health crisis, or other extreme events beyond race management control, organizers will attempt to hold the race on an alternate date; if that is not possible the race may be converted to a virtual event and participants will submit results from running the course on their own.
