Event Overview
The Blue Lobster 4-Miler is a running event held in Kennebunk, Maine. The race follows an out-and-back course on the Eastern Trail, starting and ending at the Kennebunk Elementary School located on Alewive Road. Participants can choose to run or walk the designated distance.

The event serves as a fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting the Kennebunk High School XC and Track Boosters. Participants who register by July 15th are guaranteed a race shirt, with remaining inventory distributed to later registrants as available. Following the conclusion of the event, food provided by Duffy's Tavern Kennebunk is available for participants.
Competition and Awards
Cash prizes are awarded to the overall winners of the race. Recognition is also provided for top finishers across various age groups and team categories. The current course records stand at 20:56 for the male category, established in 2023, and 24:54 for the female category, established in 2021.
In the case of extreme weather or other events beyond management control, the organizers may move the race to an alternate date or transition the competition to a virtual format where participants submit their own results.
