Blue Lobster 4-Miler
The Blue Lobster 4-Miler is a four mile out and back running event held on 08/08/2027 on the Eastern Trail in Kennebunk, Maine. The event is based at Kennebunk Elementary School, 177 Alewive Rd, Kennebunk ME 04043. Walkers are welcome.
Registration opens 08/08/2026 and closes 04/21/2027. Registration fees vary by date: $26 for Wicked Early Bird through April 21, $29 from April 22 to June 21, $34 thereafter, and $39 on race day. The deadline to order a shirt is July 15; shirts may be available after that date as supplies allow.
The race makes donations to Kennebunk High School XC and Track Boosters. Cash prizes are awarded to overall winners, with additional awards in age groups and team categories. Course records are listed as male 20:56 (2023) and female 24:54 (2021).
Post-race food is provided by Duffy's Tavern in Kennebunk. The event policy states there are no refunds. In the event of catastrophic weather, a public health crisis, or other extreme events beyond race management control, organizers will attempt to hold the race on an alternate date; if that is not possible, the event will be converted to a virtual format in which participants run the course and submit results independently.
