ASICS Blue Jean Mile at Providence College
The ASICS Blue Jean Mile takes place on May 22, 2026, at Ray Treacy Track, Providence College, Providence, RI. The event includes both an in-person mile on the track and a virtual mile option. Participation is free.
The event is presented by ASICS with local involvement from the Gansett Run Club and a partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness - Rhode Island Chapter (NAMI-RI). The event emphasizes mental health awareness. During registration, participants may make a donation to NAMI-RI.
Participants are asked to wear blue jeans while walking, jogging, rolling, pushing, or running the mile. The event notes that the Blue Jean Mile grew from a 2020 effort in which an ASICS athlete ran a fast mile in denim to raise awareness for mental health.
