Event Details

The Monster Dash is a family-friendly fun run held on the day after Halloween. The event supports the Auxiliary to the Boys & Girls Club. Participants can choose between two distances: a 1 Mile or a 5K.

Course and Start

The race starts at Grandview Elementary School, located at 2300 S. Endwright Rd. in Bloomington. The route continues onto the Karst Greenway Trail. Ample parking is available at the school. The start line is located behind the gymnasium.

Event Information

There is a staggered start for the two events. The 5K will start first, followed by the 1-mile event five minutes later. The event encourages costumes for participants, well-behaved dogs, and strollers. It is not officially timed, and there are no official prizes. Free professional photos are available for download after the event.
