Mag 7 Kickoff 5k
The Mag 7 Kickoff 5k is scheduled for April 4, 2026, at Karst Farm Park, 2450 S. Endwright Road, Bloomington, IN 47403. The event serves as the main fundraiser for the Mag 7 Race Series and directs all race proceeds to the series as its sole fundraiser. Registering for this event grants ten bonus points in the Mag 7 Series Competition even if the registrant does not participate.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K RUN
- 5K WALK
Race day packet pick up and day of registration are available at Shelter 9, by the splash pad parking lot. Shirt options are offered for an additional fee; a shirt is not guaranteed for registrations after March 21. Entry fees listed for options on the event page include a price difference for shirt versus no shirt.
The course begins near the southern terminus of the Karst Farm Greenway Trail and follows an out and back route on the trail. The route is described as relatively flat with a few small rolling hills.
After the event there will be snacks and drinks, awards to top finishers, and a door prize drawing. Awards include overall male and female runner finishers, top five male and female walk finishers, and top male and female runners in multiple age divisions from 13 and under through 70 and over.
