The Blackstone Edge Fell Race is a classic fell race organized by Todmorden Harriers, originally established by Kev Shand in 1983. This challenging race, categorized as AS, covers a distance of 5.6 km with an elevation gain of 366 meters, featuring rough terrain and the iconic Blackstone Edge Trig point. The event has maintained its traditional route over the years, thanks to supportive local landowners.
