Blacklight Run | Maryland 2026
This event takes place on July 11, 2026 at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, MD. It is organized as an evening 5K style run of up to three miles and includes on course and finish line amenities.
Participants may run, walk, or sprint; no prior experience is required. The event includes illuminated Blacklight Zones and the use of UV Glow Powder and UV liquid glow that will be applied during the course and at the after party.
Packet pickup details are sent before the event. A photo ID is required to pick up a packet. There is a same day packet pickup fee of $5 cash per registration. Pre ordered merchandise must be collected by race start time or at packet pickup; unclaimed items will be forfeited and donated.
Race operations note that runners are released in waves every 2 to 5 minutes. A pre race party begins 45 minutes before the race. Water stations are located on the course and at the finish. Spectator viewing is available on both sides of the start and finish area with no spectator charge. Parking is available for a fee up to $20 cash. There is no bag check. A race bib must be worn on the front of the shirt and safety pins are provided.
