Blackburn FunRun 2026
The Blackburn FunRun takes place on the Blackburn FunFair grounds, on the soccer field behind the Blackburn Hamlet Community Centre at 190 Glen Park Drive in Gloucester. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 7 and is part of the funfair activities. Routes run on grass and other outdoor surfaces.
Distances offered:
- 1 km cross country
- 2 km cross country
Both events use an out and back cross country route that goes through the Gloucester Allotment Garden. The event is self timed. On-site registration is available the morning of the event for an indicated cash fee; online registration is also offered during the posted registration period. Parents or guardians may run the 1 km with children at no extra cost. Strollers are permitted but the course surface is grass and can be uneven. Marshals and signage are placed along the route. All registered participants receive finisher medals and post run refreshments are provided. Ribbons are awarded to the first, second, and third male and female finishers in each event.
