Beerwah@Daybreak is a challenging running event held at the base of Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains National Park, Queensland. Participants run with the rising sun around the base of Mt Beerwah, known as the pregnant mother in local indigenous stories. The event features three race distances: 10km, half marathon, and marathon, catering to runners from beginners to elite athletes.
The course is marked with reflective tape and directional arrows, traversing tough terrain with unpredictable conditions. Checkpoints provide water and food, but runners must carry their own cups to reduce waste. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere with no on-course support crews, and spectators can cheer at the start/finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
