Beerwah At Night
Beerwah At Night is a night trail running event staged at the base of Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains National Park on 30 January 2027. The event comprises three races that run around the base of the mountain and start and finish at the same start area.
Distances:
- 10 km with 294 m elevation gain
- Half marathon with 586 m elevation gain
- Marathon two laps of the half marathon course, total 1172 m elevation gain
The course is marked with reflective orange and silver flagging tape, directional red arrows on a white background, and red crosses to indicate incorrect routes. Checkpoints provide water, electrolyte and a small variety of food but no disposable cups; participants must carry their own cup for items they do not wish to place in a hydration pack or bottle. Drop bags are available for marathon runners at the start/finish and can be accessed after each lap.
Mandatory gear includes a headlight or suitable torch, a race bib worn on the front, a mobile phone, a course map file (Maps.Me kml recommended), a water bottle or hydration pack (minimum 500 ml) and a compression bandage. Recommended items include a drinking cup, insect repellent and bite and sting treatment.
Entries close on 24 January 2027. No entries are accepted on race day. Refunds are available until 18 January 2027 subject to a $30 administration fee. All finishers receive an event memento. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
