Beerwah At Night : Mt Beerwah trail races
Beerwah At Night takes place at the base of Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains National Park on 30 January 2027. The event comprises three races around the base of the mountain, providing night-time trail running on marked routes.
Distances:
- 10 km (elevation gain 294 m)
- Half marathon (elevation gain 586 m)
- Marathon (two laps of the half marathon; elevation gain 1172 m)
The course is marked with reflective orange and silver flagging tape, red directional arrows on a white background, and red crosses indicating incorrect routes. Markings may be adjusted if conditions change due to bush fires, flooding, harvesting, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Checkpoints supply water, electrolyte and a small variety of food but do not provide disposable cups. Participants must carry their own cup for drinks they do not want to put into a bottle or hydration pack. Mandatory items include a mobile phone with emergency contacts, a course map, a race bib worn on the front, a water bottle or hydration pack (minimum 500 ml), a compression bandage and a headlight or suitable torch. Marathon runners may use drop bags at the Start/Finish and can access them after each lap.
Entries close on 24 January and there are no entries on the day. Refunds are available until 18 January 2027 with a $30 administration fee and no transfers to other people or events. All finishers receive an event memento. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
