Black River Trail Classic - October 18, 2025
The Black River Trail Classic was held on October 18, 2025, at Black River State Forest in Millston, WI. The event was the ninth running of the race and offered multiple trail distances through forested terrain.
Distances included:
- 85K trail distance
- 50K trail distance
- 25K trail distance
- 10K trail distance
All registrants received a winter hat (beanie). Personalized bibs were provided for entries completed before September 1, 2025. Finishers received collectable, customizable handcrafted wooden finisher medals. First-time finishers of the 85K received a hooded sweatshirt and a commemorative patch; each subsequent 85K finish earned an additional patch to add to the sweatshirt.
The courses were described as well marked. The route includes ridge views and fall foliage as part of the scenery. At the finish area there was hot food available, pies, and chapstick provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
