Black Copperhead Sting 50k
The Black Copperhead Sting is a trail loop event held at Rocky Branch Park in Belmont, NC. The event offers multiple distances and uses repeated laps on a marked trail course.

Each loop measures 3.24 miles and has about 293 feet of elevation gain. The lap route passes on trails named Tread, Canopy, Tread, Eagle, and Finish, and the course is marked with red ribbons and directional arrows.
Aid stations provide water, Tailwind, sodas and a variety of foods including pickles, candy, cereal, pretzels, fruit and bacon. First aid is available on site. Trekking poles are permitted. The event accepts both runners and walkers. Dogs and strollers are not allowed unless explicit permission is granted. The event proceeds in rain or shine.
