The BK5K in Knoxville is a community road race held at Victor Ashe Park, 4901 Bradshaw Rd, Knoxville, TN 37912. The event in 2026 is the sixth annual edition and includes a 5K Run/Walk and a Kids Fun Run for children 12 and under.
The event’s mission is to support area youth. All proceeds go to various 501.c.3 youth organizations and programs that demonstrate financial need. Funding grants will be evaluated for merit and dispersed by the local BK5K Youth Fund Award Committee.
The Knoxville race is organized in partnership with Girls on the Run, a program for 8 to 13 year old girls that combines lessons and running to promote life skills and empowerment.
Registration periods are defined in advance. Early registration ends November 3 and online registration ends November 13. Race day registration and packet pickup are available on site. Note that t shirt sizes are not guaranteed after the early registration period.
Entry fees vary by age and registration timing. The Kids Fun Run is free during online registration and has a small fee on race day. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three female and male finishers with amounts set for first through third place. Trophies and medals are awarded across overall and age group categories.
