PJP Parkinson's Halloween Run
PJP Parkinson's Halloween Run is scheduled for October 31, 2026, in Sequoyah Hills, Knoxville, Tennessee, at 1400 Cherokee Blvd. The event began in 2015 as a walk-a-thon and added a 5K run in 2019. Parkinson's support groups from across East Tennessee collaborate to raise awareness and to highlight local efforts that assist people living with Parkinson's disease and their families.
The event offers both an in-person 5K run and a virtual walk/run option. Early in-person registration is listed at $35 with a stated $5 increase after August 31, 2026. A virtual entry fee is listed at $25. Registration windows are provided for each option with different opening and closing dates in July through October 2026.
Early in-person registration includes a swag bag from sponsors, a ticket for a runner raffle, a race T-shirt (guaranteed with early registration), prizes and medals for category winners, and post-race refreshments. Additional T-shirts can be pre-ordered for $15; a limited number will be available at the event for $20. Race packets may be picked up at Fleet Feet on October 3 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at 11619 Parkside Dr.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age category. Runner age categories include ages 5 to 9, 10 to 14, 15 to 25, 26 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70 and above. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
