2026 Bishop Memorial 5k and 10k
This event takes place October 24 at Port City Brewing in Alexandria, Virginia. Points from the race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and also count toward the Fall Series.

Runners receive one glass of beer from Port City Brewing, a technical (drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. There are no finisher medals or awards for this race.
The course is a fairly flat, paved route with a short light-gravel out-and-back near the start. The 10k repeats that out-and-back segment twice. Water stations are placed along the routes: five stations on the 10k at approximately mile markers 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1 and 5.2, and two stations on the 5k at approximately mile markers 1 and 2.1. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located in Port City Brewing.
Registration fees listed for preregistration are $35 for the 5k until October 15 (then $40) and $50 for the 10k until October 15 (then $55); prices increase on race morning by $5 per distance. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before October 14; extras may be available afterward. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered; participants are advised to arrive about one hour before their event start time to check in.
A virtual run option is available. The event benefits Operation Turbo. Live results are posted on Athlinks with a QR code at the race, and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the event.
