Birch Bay Road Race
The Birch Bay Road Race is a seaside road event in Blaine, Washington, with courses run along the shores of Birch Bay. The event features coastal views and local wildlife, including eagles and herons, on USATF certified courses. The start and finish are located at North Bay Community Church.

Aid stations supply water, GU gels, and Tailwind electrolyte drink. The 15K course has aid stations at about 1.75, 3.75, 5.5, and 7.5 miles. The 30K course has aid stations at about 1.75, 3.75, 5.5, 7.5, 9.5, 11, 13, 15, and 16.5 miles. There are no aid stations on the 5K, and portable restrooms are placed every 2 to 3 miles and at the start/finish area.
Orca Running operates the event with cupless racing practices to reduce waste; participants are advised to use a handheld bottle, hydration pack, or a small reusable cup. A Club Challenge applies to the 15K and 30K, open to organized Canadian and US clubs, with team scoring based on the top five age-group finishes and a plaque for the winning club.
Awards for top three overall male, female, and non-binary runners are based on gun time; age-group awards are given in five-year increments and must be picked up at the race. All participants receive a custom bib, participant shirt, and finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
