Course and logistics
Both races start and finish near the Biltmore Estate Winery and Hotel in Antler Hill Village and take place on estate roads and grounds. The 15k route passes in front of the Biltmore House, the Walled Garden, Rose Garden, Conservatory, Azalea Garden, Bass Pond, and Boathouse, and includes uphill and downhill sections. Roads are not completely closed to traffic; participants are asked to keep to the right. The 15k will have a lead vehicle and a sweeper vehicle; the 5k will have a lead bike.
Aid, facilities and entry
Aid stations and portable restrooms are placed on each course, including specific stops near mile 1.6, mile 4.5 on the 15k, and near 1.5 miles on the 5k. Runners receive an event pass for estate grounds on race morning that is valid until 1pm; that pass does not include house tours. Spectators aged 10 and older must purchase a spectator pass to enter the estate for race morning. Annual pass holders must purchase a spectator pass to gain estate entry before the estate opens to annual pass holders. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
