Event overview
The Biltmore Kiwanis Classic takes place on May 17, 2026 at the Biltmore Estate, Antler Hill Village in Asheville, NC. The event includes two distances:
- 15k
- 5k
The race benefits the Kiwanis Club of Asheville. Registration prices listed on the event page are $80 for the 15k and $60 for the 5k. Both courses are USATF certified.
Course and logistics
Both races start and finish near the Biltmore Estate Winery and Hotel in Antler Hill Village. The 5k is an out-and-back course along the French Broad River with a turnaround at the Biltmore Lagoon. The 15k route begins along the river valley, includes climbs and downhills, runs in front of the Biltmore House and around the Walled Garden, Rose Garden, Conservatory, Azalea Garden, Bass Pond and Boathouse, then returns along the river and lagoon toward Antler Hill Village.
Traffic on course roads will be very limited but not completely closed; runners are advised to keep to the right. The 15k will have a lead vehicle and a sweeper vehicle; the 5k will have a lead bike. Water stops and port-a-johns are provided at multiple locations on both courses.
Entry, passes and race items
Packet pick-up includes a runner event pass for estate grounds on race morning; this pass does not grant house or tour access. Spectators aged 10 and older must purchase spectator passes; annual pass holders receive a discounted spectator rate but must still purchase a pass for race morning access. Race registration includes a finisher medal, t-shirt, collectible bib, and professional chip timing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
