Biltmore Forest 10k
The Biltmore Forest 10k is an annual running event held in Asheville, North Carolina. Now in its fourth year, the race takes place at Carolina Day School located at 1345 Hendersonville Road. The event is organized in support of the Kiwanis Club of Asheville.
The course features two distances for participants:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The routes wind through the rolling hills of the historic Biltmore Forest neighborhood. Registration is conducted entirely online and concludes on the Friday preceding the event. There is no onsite or race-day registration available. Participants can collect their race packets on the Friday evening before the race at Mountain Running Company or on the morning of the event at the race location.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in both distances, including gift certificates. Additionally, commemorative prizes are given to the top three finishers in age group categories ranging from 9 and under to 90 and over. Runners who register for this event along with the Biltmore Kiwanis Classic are eligible for a discount as part of a combined running series.
