Biltmore Forest 5k & 10k
The Biltmore Forest 5k & 10k is a summer road race held on July 31, 2027 at Carolina Day School, 1345 Hendersonville Road, Asheville. The event is hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Asheville and benefits the club's community work. This edition marks the event's sixth year.
The courses wind through the rolling hills of the historic Biltmore Forest neighborhood. The race program includes professional chip timing, a race T-shirt, post race snacks, and finisher medals.

Logistics note: early packet pick up is available the day before at Mountain Running Company. Online registration closes on the Friday before the race; there is no onsite or race day registration.
Awards include cash and commemorative prizes. Top overall awards for male and female finishers are $30 for first, $25 for second, and $20 for third, with additional $10 awards for Masters and Grand Masters divisions. Age group commemorative prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each listed category. Age groups for the 5k span from 12 and under through 80 and over. Age groups for the 10k span from 19 and under through 70 and over.
Strollers and dogs on leash are permitted; stroller entrants are asked to start at the back and dogs must be well behaved. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
