About the race
The Bill G. Werner Memorial 5K+ Run takes place on October 4, 2026 at NYIT, The Riland Building in Old Westbury, New York. The event is a 3.3 mile run and proceeds support the William G. Werner Memorial Fund, which benefits the New York Tech DPT program and its students.
Online registration is offered with a listed total of $38.98, which includes processing fees; the base run fee is shown as $35.00. Registration fees are non-refundable and not transferable. Registered participants who sign up at least three weeks before race day receive a personalized bib. Event staff manage bib pickup on race day and last-minute registrants are provided their bib number by text.
On-course services and event amenities include live results available online, by text, and by email, free finish line photos, and same-day finish line video. Awards are given to the top two overall male and top two overall female finishers. Team registration is available as an optional feature for participants who wish to join or create a team; team participation may not be tied to awards.
