Event Details
The Bill Bone Tropical Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event offering several sprint distance disciplines. The event takes place at Lake Worth Beach Park in Lake Worth, Florida.
Events Offered
- Sprint Triathlon: A 0.25 mile swim, a 13 mile bike, and a 5k run. Registration is open to ages 15 to 89.
- Sprint Duathlon: A 1 mile run, a 13 mile bike, and a 5k run. Registration is open to ages 14 to 89.
- Sprint AquaBike: A 0.25 mile swim and a 13 mile bike, with no run segment. Registration is open to ages 15 to 89.
- Sprint Triathlon Relay: A team event.
Course Information
The course is in Palm Beach County. The bike segment includes a bridge and a loop through a downtown area. The run segment passes by the Snook Island preserve, follows an Intracoastal path, and goes through Bryant Park and historic neighborhoods, with views of the ocean mentioned along the route.
Logistics
