About the race
BigSea Trails (WATER) is a trail running event held on the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, starting and finishing on the sandy Knoll Beach at Studland. Part of the Classic Element Trail Series, this race celebrates the element of water with routes that showcase stunning coastal and countryside scenery, including the Purbeck Hills, Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay, and Old Harry Rocks. Participants can choose from four distances: Half Marathon, 18 Miles, Marathon, and a challenging 54k Ultramarathon.
The course is fully marked, supported by well-stocked aid stations offering snacks and hydration, and encourages runners to carry appropriate gear for variable weather.
