Woman of Steel Triathlon & 5K : May 16, 2026
The event is part of the USA Triathlon National Women's Race Series and takes place at the American Fork Recreation Center in American Fork, Utah.
Race options and distances include:
- Triathlon: swim 300 meters, bike 12.5 miles, run 5 km
- Duathlon: bike 12.5 miles, run 5 km
- Aquathon: swim 300 meters, run 3 miles
- Aquabike: swim 300 meters, bike 12.5 miles
- 5k: 3.1 mile loop with a downhill last mile
The swim is a pool swim using a serpentine lane pattern with self-seeded starts and overhead signs indicating approximate swim paces. The bike course consists of two loops through American Fork and Highland; local officers will direct traffic and riders must follow USA Triathlon bike rules. There are no aid stations on the bike course. The run uses paved city streets; aid stations are located at every mile on the run course.
Packet pickup is not available on race morning. Pickup is available on the days before the event at designated locations. USA Triathlon requires a photo ID at packet pickup; someone else may pick up a packet if they have a copy of the participant's valid ID.
The event is USAT sanctioned. Participants receive timing with split times. Medical personnel and certified lifeguards will be on site. Awards, event merchandise, and a pancake breakfast are provided after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
