Bigfoot Classic - Tulsa
The Bigfoot Classic is scheduled in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 23, 2027. The event address on file is 428 W 23rd St. It is a themed community running event held at parks and green belts with mixed course surfaces that may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
Race distances offered include:
- Kids Dash : about 50 meters for children 10 and under
- 1 Mile : open to all ages
- 5K : 3.11 miles, chip timed
- 10K : 6.22 miles, chip timed
- 15K : 9.33 miles, chip timed
- Quarter Marathon : 6.55 miles
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles
- Virtual Run : 9.33 miles
Chip timing is used for a number of the distance events. Finishers of all distances receive a medal and a shirt. Age group awards and overall trophies are given for several distances, with specific award categories by age and masters recognition noted for the timed races.
On-course aid stations will provide water and assistance. A race rally tent offers snacks and refreshments after the finish. The event program includes a crowd judged Legendary Beast Costume Contest with a trophy, a prize pack, and a free future race entry for the winner. A DJ will provide music and race announcements, and a Bigfoot mascot will be available for photos.
Volunteer roles are listed for water stations, course monitoring, packet pickup, finish line help, sweepers, lead bike, and mascot. Full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
