Event Overview

The Turkey Shuffle takes place at Turkey Mountain Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on a Sunday in November. The event is organized by the Bigfoot Running Company.

Awards and Features

Awards are given for the 5K and 10K events, including trophies for the first overall male and female finishers, special recognition for the first male and female masters (age 40+), and gold, silver, and bronze award pins for various age groups.

All finishers for all distances receive a medal and a shirt. DJ Sasquatch provides music, and a costume contest with a Thanksgiving theme is held, with a trophy and prize pack for the winner. Snacks and refreshments are available at the finish area.

Event Logistics

Packet pickup is offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time. The races are typically held on park trails; the course may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Aid stations with water are available on the course.

Youth-based pricing is offered for the 5K and 10K events for participants aged 12 and under. There is a referral discount and group discounts are available.
