Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Tulsa
The event on October 24, 2026 takes place at Riverside 96th Street Park in Tulsa and is organized by Bigfoot Running Company. It features multiple race options that use park trails and green belts and finishes at a race rally tent.
The course travels through park landscapes and may use mixed surfaces such as paved trails, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Aid stations are positioned along the route to provide water and assistance to participants. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the event.

- Kids Dash, about 20 yards, for children 10 and under
- 1 Mile, untimed, includes a tee shirt and medal
- 5K, 3.11 miles, chip timed with overall trophies
- Quarter Marathon, 6.55 miles, chip timed with Bigfoot trophies
- Half Marathon, 13.1 miles, chip timed with overall trophies
- Volunteer then Run, 3.11 miles, includes chip timed bib and tee
- Virtual Run, 13.1 miles, run remotely
A pre-race costume contest at the starting area is judged on creativity, authenticity, and overall impact; a winner receives a Best Costume Award and prize package. Post-race activities at the rally tent include live music, snacks, and refreshments, and race results and awards are announced at the registration tent. A shirt size guarantee applies up to 10 days before the event. Volunteer roles include course monitors and aid station staff with specified benefits.
