Shark Week Showdown 5K, 10K - San Antonio
Bigfoot Running Company hosts Shark Week at Lady Bird Johnson Trail Park in San Antonio on August 1, 2027. The event includes a range of in-person and virtual race options and on-course support.

The 5K and 10K are chip timed and include age-group awards, overall trophies for first place men and women, and recognition for masters results. Finish-line items include finisher medals for the 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K, race tees, music at the start and finish areas, and aid stations along the course. The Kids Dash is a short, untimed dash with a special Kids Dash medal and a post-race treat.
Volunteer options include a Volunteer Then Run program for the 5K with a bib, tee, and finisher medal, limited to the first 10 sign-ups, and full race volunteer roles that provide a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
