Heroes and Villains Half Marathon - San Antonio

Presented by Bigfoot Running Company at The Rim Shopping Center in San Antonio, Texas, this event offers multiple race options on scenic local park and greenbelt trails. Course surfaces are mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections. Aid stations are available along the courses and finish line festivities include live results, awards presentations, music, and refreshments at the Race Rally Tent.

All finishers in every distance receive a medal and shirt. Additional event features include race tees and custom swag, a live DJ announcing runners, Bigfoot trophies for top overall finishers, staff and crowd support, finish line photos, and an awards ceremony with age group recognition. A Heroic Costume Contest takes place before the races with prizes including a $25 gift card, a free future race entry, and a Bigfoot Prize Pack.

Volunteer options include a Volunteer Then Run entry for the 5K that includes a chip timed bib, shirt, and finisher medal and is limited to the first five sign-ups. Full race volunteers receive a Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 digital gift card. Volunteer roles cover water stations, course monitoring, finish line assistance, packet pickup and results support, lead bike, mascot, and sweeping duties.
