What the event is
The Red, White and Blue Half Marathon - San Antonio is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at The Rim Shopping Center in San Antonio, TX. The event is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and offers in-person and virtual options. Course surfaces may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt. Aid stations will be on the course to provide water and assistance. All finishers of all distances receive a shirt and a medal.
Distances offered
- Kids Dash - about 50 meters, for kids 10 and under, untimed
- 2 Mile - untimed, includes shirt and medal
- 4 Mile - chip timed, age group awards
- 8 Mile - chip timed, age group awards
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) - chip timed, age group awards
- Volunteer then Run - volunteer option that includes 4-mile run entry and finisher items
- Virtual Run - remote participation option
Awards, timing and other details
The 4 Mile, 8 Mile, and Half Marathon are chip timed. Standard age group awards are given for the 4 Mile, 8 Mile, and Half Marathon, including 1st overall male and female trophies and masters recognition for age 40 and over. The Kids Dash, 2 Mile, and Virtual events are not timed and do not qualify for age group awards. Course maps are provided for each distance. Volunteers earn a race shirt and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 pre-paid digital gift card. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
