About the race
Gingerbread Lane is a holiday-themed race day at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville, TX. The event offers multiple distances and a kids dash, with post-race snacks and on-course aid.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash 50 meters, for children 10 and under.
- 1 mile event, not chip timed.
- 5K (3.11 miles), chip timed.
- 10K (6.22 miles), chip timed.
- Volunteer then Run 5K (3.11 miles), limited entries, includes chip timing.
- Virtual 6.22 mile option.
All finishers receive a race shirt and a finisher medal. The 5K and 10K include overall trophies for first male and female finishers and masters recognition pins for first-place masters. Standard age-group awards use gold, silver, and bronze pins across listed age brackets, including youth categories. Aid stations will provide water and on-course assistance. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths.
A holiday-themed costume contest is part of the program with prizes that include entries to a future Bigfoot event, a trophy, and a treats bucket. Packet pickup is available beginning 1.5 hours before the race start. Volunteer roles offer race shirts, souvenir medals subject to availability, VIP access, and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
