Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K Austin at Lake Pflugerville Park
This holiday themed race takes place at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville, Texas. The event includes on-site and virtual options and features a family oriented Kids Dash for young children. Music, postrace snacks, and awards are part of the event experience.
Distances offered include:
- 50 m Kids Dash for ages 10 and under
- 1 mile untimed fun run
- 5K chip timed 3.11 miles
- 10K chip timed 6.22 miles
- Virtual 6.22 miles option
- Volunteer then Run 5K limited to first 20 participants
The Kids Dash is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and a recognition pin. The 1 mile event is not chip timed and includes a tee shirt and medal. The 5K and 10K are chip timed and offer overall trophies for male and female winners, masters recognition pins, and standard age group award pins across youth and adult categories up to 70 plus. All finishers receive a medal and shirt. Shirt guarantee cutoff is 10 days before the event.
Additional features include a holiday themed costume contest with prizes, a DJ providing music, aid stations on course for water and assistance, live awards at the registration tent after the race, and mixed course surfaces including paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
