Event overview
Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K Austin takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville, TX. The event is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and includes in-person and virtual options. A DJ will play holiday music at the event, and finishers are offered holiday cookies and milk. All finishers receive a holiday-themed race shirt and a finisher medal.

- Kids Dash - about 50 meters (designed for kids 10 and under; not timed)
- 1 Mile - not chip timed
- 5K - chip timed (3.11 miles)
- 10K - chip timed (6.22 miles)
- Volunteer then Run 5K - chip timed 5K option limited to the first 20 sign-ups
- Virtual Run
The 5K and 10K include overall trophies for male and female winners, masters recognition pins, and standard age-group awards through 70+ age brackets. Aid stations will provide water on course. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
Additional information
A holiday-themed costume contest is held with prizes that include two free entries to a future Bigfoot Race, a trophy, and a holiday treats bucket. Volunteer roles are available with benefits such as a race shirt, souvenir medal (subject to availability), VIP access, and a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
