Love Your Neighbor 5K - Austin
The Love Your Neighbor 5K is the second annual community running event held in Austin. The course runs through the tiny home community that neighbors call home at Community First! Village, and the distance is 5K (3.1 miles).
The event program includes family-focused activities such as face painting, food trucks, balloon art, and a Welcome Home card-making station for neighbors. There are opportunities to tour model homes on the event's expansion property, and walking tours of Community First! Village are offered during the event. An award ceremony is part of the program.
Packet pickup takes place at the Welcome Center at 9116 Hog Eye Rd, Austin, TX 78724. Registration opens on June 30 and closes on August 19. The registration fee is $30. Participants who register by August 19 receive a free t-shirt.
