Jubilee Mobile Food Pantry Prayer Walk/5K
The Jubilee Mobile Food Pantry Prayer Walk/5K is the second annual event organized by Restoring God’s Family (RGF) Network in Georgetown, Texas on April 3, 2027. The event takes place near 521 E. Morrow Street and combines a community 5K run with a separate prayer walk.
The Jubilee Mobile Food Pantry program responds to food insecurity in Williamson County, where roughly 77,610 people, about 12.6% of the population, are affected. The program delivers fresh produce, meats, bread and other food within the community to address access challenges caused by rural geography and limited public transportation. The program is part of RGF Network’s work as a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit with four core programs: Jubilee Mobile Food Pantry, Jubilee Community Church, Family Pathways and Warrior Training School.
The event includes a 3.1 Miles 5K run and a dedicated prayer walk. A prayer walk is described as walking while praying to seek guidance, protection and blessings for people and places encountered. Packet pickup and bib assignment are available on Friday, April 2 at San Gabriel Park and on the morning of the event. Registration fee for the race is $45.00.
