Course, awards and logistics
The courses are typically on mixed surfaces common to park events, including paved trails, crushed granite and some dirt paths. Aid stations are placed on course to provide water. Standard awards include 1st overall trophies for the 5K, Quarter Marathon and Half Marathon, masters recognition pins, and age-group pins through 70+. Packet pickup is offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time; shirt availability is guaranteed up to 10 days before the event.
